 Steps to Success 2012-2013

All Carmel students are expected to exhibit behavior that supports these values:
  • Respect
  • Responsibility
  • Honesty
  • Safety

Students can earn Colt Coins to trade in at the school store and in their classrooms.

When a student's behavior is not consistent with our core values, the staff will work with the student to help him/her. The following steps will also be used to help the student recognize how his/her actions do not reflect our school values:

  • Step 1 - verbal warning
  • Step 2 - 10 minute reflection time and note in agenda
  • Step 3 - 1/2 day cooling off/reflection period in another class
  • Step 4 - Full day cooling off/reflection in another class
  • Step 5 - Continued inappropriate behavior will result in an office referral
