I have been teaching in Cherokee County for 11 years although this is my 17th year of teaching.  I have taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades.  This is my ninth year at Liberty! I taught sixth grade reading for two years, fifth grade reading for five years, and 4th grade language arts.  I am so excited to teach SCIENCE & LANGUAGE ARTS for the 2012-2013 school year!

I live in Ball Ground with my husband, Dave, my two sons, Zachary age 14, Ryan age 7, and my daughter, Danielle almost 17.  I am also blessed to have two bonus daughters, Courtney is 19 and Kelsey age 15.

I have attended several universities:  UW-Stout in Menomonie, WI; UW-Eau Claire, WI; University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa (ROLL TIDE, ROLL!!!),Piedmont College, and finally, Lincoln Memorial University.  I have a Master's degree in Education, and I completed my Education Specialist degree from LMU!  I am certified from Pre-K through 8th grade and highly qualified in all subject areas as well.

Fun Facts:

  • I was born and raised in Eau Claire County, Wisconsin; it is right across the border from Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN.
  • I love the Green Bay Packers & the Alabama Crimson Tide!
  • As a child, I loved three & four wheeling, riding snowmobiles, ice skating, watching hockey, and camping/boating with my family.
